We haven´t heard of her, yet.
As the name already tells us, Kanga is a Kangaroo.
But she isn´t just a normal Kangaroo, she´s female, the only important "woman" in the whole book
(that´s why she is so important, though she has an underpart).
And she also isn´t just a "woman", she is a mother, too, a single mother --
the caring mother of baby Roo, her little son.
She is mild, good-hearted, clever and has a good sense of humour.
Because of all that qualities she is materializing the role of the perfect woman (and mother) during the whole book.

Overall she is a very tolerant character, but there are 3 or 4 things, she can´t stand:
- she hates it,when Roo,her little son doen´t really listen to her
- she doesn´t like it when Roo doesn´t want to take his medecine
- she gets really frightened and nervous, when Roo is unobserved (and that happens very easily because he´s always everywhere and walks into things rapidly.)
To me, Kanga is like a strong, great and warm person, she gives me the feeling ,that I can trust her, and has many character attitudes, that are really important but she also isn´t totally faultless...
Seems to be the perfect composition...
